Purpose
This program is designed for individuals seeking an initial license and/or training in middle school math and science education but not a degree.
Prerequisites
A Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree
Coursework in adolescent psychology
A passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills portion of the MTEL
|
Education Courses (12 credits)
Content Based Methods Courses* (9 credits)
Practicum and Seminar (6 credits)
Additional Information and Notes
*Additional Math/Science courses may be required to meet standards.
**The Middle School Math/Science MTEL must be passed prior to the practicum and seminar
