The Information Technology (IT) Minor addresses the present need of businesses that implement IT to improve their efficiency and productivity. The IT work force needs to be trained for special skills that can only be taught through directional instruction. This IT Minor is an effort to address these requirements. The students will gain knowledge of core concepts as well as develop necessary skills through hands on projects and labs. Students will learn IT fundamentals, computer networks, Information security, and web systems, which are the pillars on which today’s infrastructures stand.
