Advanced Professional Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis

Program Objective
This program provides students with the background necessary for working with individuals with behavioral problems in supervised settings such as schools, behavioral intervention programs, mental health settings of all kinds, group homes for a variety of populations, rehabilitation and nursing settings, work settings and other settings.
Completion of the program meets the academic requirements to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination. Students pursuing credentials as a board certified behavior analyst must fulfill experiential requirements as detailed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), and must apply for, and pass, the certifying examination.
Track 1: Post-Masters Certificate
Prerequisites:
Applicants must hold a completed Masters degree in a related area from an accredited institution.
Program Requirements:
All candidates must complete the 6-course sequence, with the option to include supervised internship hours.

Track 2: Post-Baccalaureate Certificate
Prerequisites:
- a completed bachelors degree in a related area with a 3.25 GPA
- applicant must have either completed an internship or have one year work experience in a behavior analysis site
- 3 professional letters of recommendation
- a personal statement
Program Requirements:
All candidates must complete the same courses listed in Track 1 above with the exception of .
