Purpose
This program is designed for individuals who already hold an initial license in elementary education and who are seeking a professional license and a master’s degree, or individuals who are seeking further professional development in the field.

Core Courses (18 credits)
Select 12 credits
from the courses below; or you may choose to complete a specific concentration *
Literacy in the Elementary Classroom Concentration (online option)
TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Hybrid option)
Social Sciences and History Content (choose 4 courses)
Please Note:
- All courses that will count towards the degree must be completed within six years of the date the degree is awarded.
- Substitutions are appropriate but the program must remain at 30 - 33 credits
- This program does not lead to endorsement for a Teaching License.
- Any Education certificate program may be substituted for a concentration with approval of the coordinator
- A student can create a new four course concentration in consultation with the program coordinator.
