The Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology is a stem program that enables its graduates to apply the science of psychology to the work-place. This program can be used as a stepping-stone toward doctoral study or to prepare for a career in such things as strategic human resources, organizational development and change management.
You will complete coursework in psychology and business, such as organizational development, work motivation, personnel selection and placement, and psychometrics and you will gain valuable experience from the required ingtership as well as connections you make with your academic colleagues and the alumni of the program.
The program, which is unique to the Massachusetts North Shore, follows guidelines set by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Inc. (SIOP).
No more than 20 credit hours may be taken through the Bertolon School of Business towards the completion of this program.

Pre-requisite coursework including*
One introductory psychology course
One statistics and one methods research course(s) may be combined
Four-six psychology, behavioral science, or management courses
*Pre-requisite coursework may be completed after admission to the program, with prior approval from the program coordinator.
