BIO 105 - Biological Systems

This course deals with fundamental biological systems, from the cellular to the organismal level. With appropriate reference to man, the course will emphasize the unity and diversity of operational systems in all organisms. Topics are intended to provide a foundation of basic principles and vocabulary to be utilized in Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Nursing courses. Laboratory exercises introduce dissection, microscopy, experimentation and observation. Three lecture hours and one two-hour laboratory per week. Not open to students who have completed BIO101 or BIO103 or BIO 122 , or BIO 132 . Co-requisite: CHE 124  or CHE 130 .
