MAT 427 - Statistical Experimental Design3 Credit(s) An overview of fundamental designs used to analyze experimental data. Topics include simple and multiple linear regression, analysis of variance, two-group discriminant analysis, factor analysis, time series analysis, and the analysis of categorical data. There will be extensive use of statistical software packages on the computer. Not open to students who have previously completed MAT347. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: MAT 247 or MAT 407 .
