NUR 362 - Transition Course for Licensed Practical Nurses I

This course will focus on the role of the professional nurse in acute care. It offers an opportunity to broaden one’s knowledge of human-environmental interaction and to apply that learning in student selected experiences in a medical-surgical practice setting. The nursing science indices serve as the foundation for expanded knowledge and competencies. Four lecture hours per week. Forty-five hours of clinical practice for the semester. Limited to LPN-BSN students through the Evening Division. Prerequisites: NUR 360A, NUR 361A, NUR 409. Co-requisite: NUR 370.
