PSY 210 - Introduction to Learning3 Credit(s) DIII This course presents an overview of research in animal and human learning including topics in reflexive behavior, classical and operant conditioning. Emphasis will be placed on behaviorism as a philosophy of science, reasoning about cause and effect, evolutionary mechanisms, animal research ethics, and the application of learning in institutional and clinical environments. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credits for PSY301. Prerequisite: PSY 101 .
