SWK 261 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment I3 Credit(s) This is one of two courses which consider the interface between behavioral/psychological processes and the social environment out of which they grow. Emphasis is given to systems theory, group dynamics, organizational and community processes. The course draws linkages between this content and the provision of social services to individuals, families, groups, and communities by social workers based in organizational settings. Not open to students who have completed SWK360. Prerequisites: PSY 101 and SOC 201 or approval of Department Chairperson.
