SPC 101N - ESL Oral Communication3 Credit(s) This course is designed exclusively for students whose native language is not English. This introductory course focuses on pronunciation, articulation, conversational speaking and listening. Acquired skills will be used in interpersonal, group, and public speaking situations. This course meets for six hours per week to allow for extensive speech practice and applied speech communication theory. Six lecture hours per week. Fulfills the Speech requirement. Not open to students who have received credit for SPC 101P . Co-requisite: Enrollment in one of the ESL core courses.
