COM 412 - Experiential Learning in Advertising3 Credit(s) This lecture and laboratory course involves hands-on work with clients from small businesses and non-profit organizations. Students collaborate to assist clients with their creative needs. Students analyze their team’s creative process, and how it was affected by marketing, media, and creative considerations, as well as legal and ethical issues. This culminates in student-written case studies supported by a portfolio of work completed for the client. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: or permission of Department Chairperson.
