ECO 209N - Census 2000: Analyzing and Interpreting Census Data3 Credit(s) DIII The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the U.S. Census as a means of increasing research skills. The course will inform the student as to the purpose, methodology and data references of the U.S. Census. The student will also be introduced to the rudiments of sampling design and descriptive statistics. Three lecture hours per week. This course will be offered on a periodic basis. Elective for Economics majors and minors. Division III elective for all other majors. Not open to students who have received credits for ECO209.
