EDU 306 - History and Philosophy of Education3 Credit(s) An in-depth analysis of those problems which are formulating the thrust of twentieth century education. Questions to be studied are universal in nature and the foci of these inquires penetrate into matters of import from day care programs up through graduate studies. Proceeding on the assumption that heuristic learning is one of the most meaningful modes of acquiring knowledge, student participation is encouraged. Three lecture hours per week.
