FRE 203 - French Culture I3 Credit(s) DI The cultures of France and other French speaking countries. The course treats the civilization, language (linguistics), history, geography, literature, music, and art of the countries in question. Class conducted in English with readings in English. Three lecture hours per week. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: In some cases, but not typically, the FRE203 and FRE 204 course sequence may count toward completion of the bachelor of arts foreign language requirement, by permission of the Department Chairperson only. See Competency-Based Skills Requirements for rules governing this option. A Division I elective for all other students.
