SPN 390 - Methodology for Foreign Language Teaching3 Credit(s) This course is especially designed for those students who will become second language or foreign language teachers. Different methodologies will be practiced in class. New technologies and recent findings in the field of applied linguistics will be examined. Students will familiarize themselves with the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning as recommended by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Taught in English. Required of Spanish Majors in the Teaching Track. Offered bi-annually. Three hours of class work per week. Prerequisites: SPN 202 or SPN 212 or SPN 222 or equivalent. Majors not enrolled in the teaching track may substitute SPN 385 for this course.
