GGR 456 - Field Methodology in Wetlands Investigation3 Credit(s) The focus of the course is “hands on” training in techniques employed to identify and map the wetland areas of Massachusetts. Macro and micro approaches to wetland investigation include the study of topography, vegetation, hydrology, and soils using satellite images, air photos, maps, and on-site study. Three lecture hours per week plus local field trips. Free elective. Prerequisite: GGR256.
