GLS 373 - Surveying II4 Credit(s) A lecture and laboratory study in advanced topics of surveying, a continuation of Surveying I. Specific topics to be covered are: geodetic and control surveys, topographic and hydrographic surveys, aerial surveys, photogrammetric applications, astronomical observations, coordinate systems, tacheometry, and horizontal and vertical curves. Field operations will be included. Three lecture hours and three hours of laboratory per week. Prerequisites: GLS 372 , MAT 247 or permission of Department Chairperson.
