HST 344 - The American Military Experience

Examines the historic role of the armed forces through the study of origins and development of military institutions, traditions and practices. Strongly emphasizes military policy, organization and technology as they relate to political, economic, and social developments. Particular emphasis will be placed on the role of the citizen soldier in the United States. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for HIS215.
