HST 306 - United States Cultural and Social History3 Credit(s) DIII Examines the nation’s cultural and social development. The interaction of settlers with old world background, the influence of the frontier, the emphasis on education, varying religious inheritance, the impact of industrialization, and the advances made in the arts, crafts and sciences will be studied in terms of their contribution to the uniqueness of American culture. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for HIS313.
