IDS 189 - Seminar in Interdisciplinary Studies: Foundations of Excellence3 Credit(s) DI DIII Through introducing students to questions and scholarship of a specialized topic using an interdisciplinary approach, this course fosters critical skills that are foundational to a liberal arts education and assists students in developing their identity as college students. All first year freshmen accepted as either Undeclared or Bachelor of Liberal Studies majors are required to take this course. It is recommended that students who have completed IDS 108 and IDS 109 see the department chairperson before enrolling. Three lecture hours per week.
