CRJ 301 - Community Corrections 3 Credit(s) This course examines community corrections which occur within the criminal justice system but outside of the traditional correctional institutions. The student will analyze the evolution, structure and function of various community correctional components such as diversion programs, halfway houses, and drug and alcohol treatment programs. Three lecture hours per week. CRJ major requirement. Prerequisite: CRJ 101 .
