BIO 714 - Topics in Molecular and Cell Biology: The Basis of Biotechnology3 Credit(s) Modern technology has greatly extended our ability to explore the biological and physical world. Specifically, the study of Cell and Molecular Biology has experienced unprecedented advances in recent years. Students will explore modern cell biology and examine its various applications through the growing field of Biotechnology, including gene therapy, genetic engineering, environmental remediation, agricultural enhancements and medical initiatives.
Prerequisite: College-level Biology course or permission of the Instructor.
