EDG 790 - Introduction to Special Education3 Credit(s) This course is designed for general and special education personnel working with exceptional students. It addresses the historical and legislative factors influencing the education of different student populations. Eligibility requirements and IEP development, case law, curriculum, instructional and assessment practices, and consultation models are addressed. 20-25 hour pre-practicum is required.
Not open to students who have received credit for EDU 990V.
