GLS 102 - Historical Geology4 Credit(s) DII Q Principles and techniques used to interpret the history of the earth. The origin and evolution of the earth, its atmosphere, oceans, plants and animals. In laboratory students are acquainted with the use of geologic maps and sections and fossils. Three lecture hours and two hours of laboratory per week. Satisfies Distribution Division II laboratory science sequence requirement with GLS100. Not open to students who have received credit for GLS201.
Prerequisite: GLS100, or permission of Department Chairperson.
