MUS 319 - Advanced Audio Engineering

Advanced Audio Engineering expands upon concepts learned in MUS 119 Fundamentals of Audio Engineering, MIDI Sequencing and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Advanced use of recording studio technologies will be employed in the creation of large-scale multi-track projects. Additional areas of study will include studio etiquette, session and personnel management, mixing and preparation of music for various forms of multimedia production. Three lecture hours per week. Additional lab work and studio/concert recording required. Prerequisite: MUS 220.
