NUR 105 - Nursing in the 21st Century II1 Credit(s) This course is a continuation of Nursing in the 21st Century I, providing the beginning level student an opportunity to explore the profession of nursing, the role of the nursing student and the current trends in healthcare. Through interactive group discussion and observational experiences, topics will encompass the history of nursing, a survey of nursing specialties, the role of the professional nurse and skills necessary for completion of the nursing major. One lecture hour per week. Prerequisite: NUR 104 .
