SMS 260 - Introduction to Health Education and Health Promotion3 Credit(s) Through lecture and discussion, students will study various health promotion programs in a variety of settings (school, clinical, occupational). The effect of health education and promotion programs on shaping individual lifestyles will be examined, as well as their value to sponsoring agencies. Three lecture hours per week. Required for Fitness/Wellness Concentration/Minor and Health and Consumer Science Concentration. Not open to students who have received credit for SFL261.
