SOC 300 - Social Thought I: Established Thought3 Credit(s) DIII This course considers the broad spectrum of thought and ideas directed through history toward the nature of society and humanity’s place within the social framework. The course primarily examines historical and contemporary examples of accepted or “establishment” thought as expressed by a variety of social philosophers as well as sociologists. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: SOC 201 or permission of Department Chairperson.
