LBS 724 - Electronic Technologies for Information Retrieval

3 Credit(s) The internet and other electronic resources are a rich and vast set of tools for education. This course provides an overview of these resources as well as in-depth exploration of educationally appropriate materials, critical evaluation tools, applications, and a conceptual framework within which they are to be used. Additional topics include ethical standards for professionals, copyright, plagiarism, and preparing professional development programs. Participants will explore the resources available as well as develop applications.
