EDU 829 - Accessing and Designing School Services for Students with Exceptional Learning Needs3 Credit(s) In this course candidates will investigate categories of disability within the context of the eligibility determination process. Candidates will develop an understanding of the distinctions between IEPs and 504 plans while identifying appropriate accommodations, modifications, and support services for students with special needs. Candidates will read and write IEPs and identify strategies for implementing IEP goals in the context of the general curriculum in various settings.
