HST 825 - African American History to 18653 Credit(s) This course examines the development and social construction of black America from its ancestral roots in West Africa to Reconstruction with emphasis on the trans-Atlantic slave trade, the growth of domestic slavery, racial formation, community development, and the juxtaposition of slavery and freedom in early United States history.
Not open to students who have received credit for HIS 756.
