HST 855 - Late Medieval and Renaissance History3 Credit(s) This course is designed to familiarize the students with the major historical events of the period; to illustrate the major historical interpretations through assigned readings and lectures; to develop an awareness of the reasons behind the religious, cultural, political, and economic tensions of the day, with particular stress upon the development of humanism and individualism.
Not open to students who have received credit for HIS 741.
