HST 906 - Themes in the History of Colonial and Modern Africa: 1870-Present3 Credit(s) This course examines controversial issues in the study of colonial and modern Africa. Themes could include the partition of Africa, collaboration or resistance to European rule, ideologies of domination, settler colonies, exploitation or development, nationalism and decolonization. Three lecture hours per week.
Not open to students who have received credits for HIS 765.
