ODS 800 - Operations Management3 Credit(s) The course deals with concepts and principles related to the conversion process: the inputs of materials, investment, and labor producing finished goods and services. Taught from a management point of view. Topics include product/process design, capacity planning, plant layout, production scheduling, quality control, demand forecasting, human engineering, job design and inventory management. Relationships to other major business functions are explored.
Prerequisites: Matriculation into the MBA program; completion of all foundation courses or permission of Program Coordinator.
