SWK 835R - Social Work and the Law3 Credit(s) This course provides a basic understanding of the roles of the different branches of government in making and interpreting law. The role of the courts and their importance in substantive areas of social work practice are examined. The role of social workers in the legal system is studied.
Prerequisites: Admission to the MSW Program or permission of the Instructor and MSW Program Coordinator.
