SWK 882 - International Perspectives in Social Welfare3 Credit(s) This course examines social welfare issues in a global context. Topics include poverty, inequality, human rights, the oppression of women and girls, welfare state alternatives, migration, international institutions, and the debate over globalization. The experiences of rich, middle-income, and poor countries will be explored.
Prerequisites: SWK 703 or permission of Instructor and MSW Program Coordinator.
