Works by professional literary journalists serve as models. Students critique one another’s work and place successful work in the college newspaper. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for ENG 313. Prerequisite: ENG 102, ENL 102 , ENG 102E, ENG 103, ENL 103 , ENG 106H, or ENL 110H , and at least one English course at the 200- level or permission of the department chairperson.
