EDU 493P Student Teaching Practicum in Secondary Education - History 9 Credit(s) A full-time classroom experience in a local school setting providing the pre-service undergraduate with on-site supervisory support in the classroom and periodic observation and evaluation by a college supervisor at the school placement site. The practice of measuring and evaluating student achievement will also be examined as an integral part of the teaching/learning process. Students are also required to attend weekly seminar sessions as part of a co-requisite seminar. Minimum of 300 clock hours per semester. Required of all Secondary Education Minors seeking licensure in History Not open to students who have received credit for EDU493. All Licensure Program prerequisites must be met prior to practicum assignment.
