ENL 300 Advanced Writing

A workshop course in advanced expository writing, involving regular peer review of manuscripts and evaluation by the instructor both in class and in conference. Students will focus specifically on various approaches to exposition, techniques for writing and elements of style. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for ENG400. Prerequisite: W-I course (or ENL 102 and its equivalents), and at least one English course at the 200-level or permission of the department chairperson.
