NUR 415B Public Health Nursing 4.5 Credit(s) W This course explores theoretical concepts of public health nursing that provide the framework to analyze the relationships between individual, community and environment as they impact the promotion and maintenance of optimum health. Students provide health education and nursing care to individuals, families, communities and populations through a variety of clinical placements (4.5 credits: 2 lecture hours and 7.5 hours of clinical practice per week for the semester).
