PHS 571 Special Problems in Physics 1-6 Credit(s) This course provides research direction and participation in any area of physics of interest to the student and for which a faculty specialist is available for supervision. Open only to students who have completed at least three semesters of college physics. Requires the approval of the supervising faculty member. Students must make prior arrangements with the faculty member. Demands on faculty time and laboratory equipment will necessarily limit the openings in this course. A paper will be required at the end of the course. Prerequisites: Consent of faculty member and permission of Department Chairperson.
