DAN 136 Cyphering Dance 3 Credit(s) This course will explore the act of creating urban movement spontaneously. Through guided direction by the instructor, students will develop skills that create awareness about how the body relates to space, time, and energy. These skills are designed to enhance students’ creativity within the cypher, an area of the dance floor that is open to those who wish to dance in it. This course is designed for students with previous dance training. Appropriate dance attire must be worn. Three hours per week.
