BUS 802 - Legal and Ethical Environment3 Credit(s) A study of the legal and ethical framework within which the formal business organization must operate. Topics included are the law of contracts, sales, negotiable instruments, partnerships, corporations, bankruptcy, consumer protection, and agency. Emphasis will be placed on the rights and liabilities of all parties. Case study method will be used extensively.
Prerequisites: Matriculation into the MBA program; completion of all foundation courses or permission of Program Coordinator.
