CRJ 301 Community Corrections 3 Credit(s) This course examines community-based sanctions that are implemented outside of the traditional correctional institutions. The student will analyze the evolution, structure, and function of various community correctional components such as diversion programs, halfway houses, and drug and alcohol treatment programs. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite: CRJ101.
