HST 310 Development of the American Constitution 3 Credit(s) A case study analysis of the history of American constitutional law. The course encompasses significant events and court cases from the American Revolution to the present. Special attention is given to the role of the U.S. Supreme Court and to significant developments in Massachusetts constitutional history. Three lecture hours per week. Fulfills Massachusetts’s teacher certification American Government requirement. Not open to students who have received credit for HIS319.
