NUR 475 Role Immersion Practicum

Immersion experience in nursing. Experiential learning emphasizing mastery of theoretical concepts, application of evidence-based practice, improving skill competency, and development of clinical judgment capabilities. Fosters increased independence in providing care to clients and facilitates the transition from student to baccalaureate nurse generalist. Students complete 165 hours in a precepted clinical nursing practice setting. Limited to students enrolled in the Accelerated Second Degree BSN program.
