BIO 326 Marine Botany 4 Credit(s) A survey of plants living in seawater environments with particular emphasis on taxonomy, morphology, and ecology. Selected studies on algal physiology are also included. In addition to the regularly scheduled lab/field program, students will be required to plan and participate in two one-day field trips on the weekend. Three lecture hours and one three-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisites: BIO105, or BIO115H-BIO116H, BIO117H or BIO121-BIO122, or BIO122-BIO124, or BIO131-BIO132, or permission of Department Chairperson.
