GPH 247 Recreating spaces: Exploring Climate Change and Recreation" 3 Credit(s) This course examines the dimensions of outdoor recreation from a spatial and regional perspective and the impacts climate change has and will continue to have on recreational spaces and activities. Students will explore the economic opportunities created in recreational destinations and regions, will examine the means through which firms and entrepreneurs exploit such opportunities or location-driven competitive advantages, and will investigate some of the external economic forces that influence the viability of destinations. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to student who have received credit for GGR365
