HST 302 Digital History

This course introduces students to the theories, practices, and technologies used in the field of digital history and digital humanities more broadly. It provides students with foundational understanding and hands-on experience with different approaches and technologies for collecting, analyzing, preserving, and representing the past. Throughout the course students will learn to work with a range of digital methods used for the acquisition and analysis of information in the context of historical research and will learn tools that enable them to present historical research effectively. Three lecture hours per week.
